Hello.  My name is Barry Robert Segal.  I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am a Jewish DeafBlind Gay renaissance man, having performed in theaters for years as an actor/comedian in my well-known one-man show, "Barbie Seguy", as well as in comedy shows, musicals, dramas, and dance.

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., and received a Master's Degree from New York University. I am self-employed as a DeafBlind consultant, and have taught American Sign Language since 1997 in various cities throughout the United States.  I also produced, directed and presented in a DeafBlind Culture video that is available for sale.  In addition, I have also owned my art business - Unique Touch Art - since 2003.  Besides enjoying creating art, acting in theater and teaching American Sign Language, I love to travel and meet different people. I have very strong beliefs in diversity and equal rights, and have been involved in Minnesota Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf (MNRAD), the Minnesota DeafBlind Association (MDBA) and the Minnesota Association of Deaf Citizens (MADC).
